Oldest Home In Sacramento Also Has Horse Racing History

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – The oldest home in Sacramento not only holds that distinction, it’s also the burial ground of a well-known racehorse.

The home on Del Dayo Drive was built in 1856, and beneath what’s left of the oldest oak tree on the property is said to be buried American thoroughbred racehorse “Salvator.”
