Teen Puts Together Youth Horse Fair
Elseana Skowronski is one busy teen. As a high school freshman, she takes dance lessons in Oakhurst and serves as a teen leader in Mariposa’s 4-H program. She was a junior leader for two years previously. She owns two horses and rides and shows two leased horses.
If you haven’t heard yet about the Youth Horse Fair coming up next weekend, Skowronski is organizing and facilitating the event for her 4-H Emerald Star project. She’s lined up an impressive group of guest speakers, including a veterinarian, a farrier and a Shetland pony owner and exhibitor. Jocelynn Barrington, Miss Mariposa County Fair Rodeo Queen, will be master of ceremonies.
