Obstacles & Trail Training – A Workshop
DATE: Sunday October 7, 2018
PLACE: Bit-By-Bit Ranch 1740 Silverado Rd. Placerville.
TIME: 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM
FEE: $45.00 for Participants, ($20.00 GSHC Members)
RSVP’s ARE REQUIRED! SPACE IS LIMITED TO TWELVE (12) PARTICIPANTS!
INFO: We will be at the beautiful Bit-By-Bit Ranch in Placerville, CA. We will be working on the skills and approached needed to enjoy working around obstacles and training on the trail. We may even try our “hooves” at Equine Soccer! LUNCH WILL BE SERVED! We will be staring off with some useful groundwork exercises before moving on to the under saddle part of the session.
YOU WILL NEED: A good halter (we recommend a stiff rope halter), 10’-14’ lead rope, training stick of some kind, tack, a chair and a horse.
HORSES: You will want to have at least 20 good rides (all three gaits) and some “out of the arena experience with your horse prior to attending this workshop. We recommend you also have some “small group” experience under your cinch as well. If you are unsure if your horse “qualifies” for this session just reach out via email to luckystarhorsemanship@gmail.com and let’s chat about it.
RSVP INSTRUCTIONS: Deadline to send in your PARTICIPANT RSVP and $20 deposit is 10/03/2018. You can PAY-PAL in your deposit to luckystarhorsemanship@gmail.com and use the SEND MONEY TO FAMILY/FRIENDS option or you will be responsible for the additional fees.
