Annual Campout in Pioneertown/Joshua Tree

April 2, 2018 @ 8:00 am - April 7, 2018 @ 5:00 pm

This will be our 3rd annual Joshua Tree trip…must of going are driving from the Sacramento and surrounding area.

The trip will be held April 2-7, 2018 at the beginning of the Spring for better desert bloom viewing. WE HAVE THE CORRALS BOOKED FOR US TO USE!!! $20 A NIGHT PER PERSON. DESERT WILL BE IN FULL BLOOM!!

The group has the Pioneertown Corrals reserved. If you dont want to camp you can stay in the Pioneertown Motel but you have to call and make that reservation yourself. We will be riding straight out of camp there are several awesome rides from camp…to include the 10 mile Sawtooth Loop for the adventures….(it’s gorgeous)…. or just the Chaparral Loop if you want an easier 6 mile or less casual ride.

There are 28 corrals for us to use. We are limited to 25 rigs.https://secure.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/3/8/e/b/600_460994571.jpeg

Dates/ times/ locations for each ride will be discussed. The hosted rides will be held at 1) Sawtooth Loop (10 miles/ or 6miles) 2) Black Rock (several trail options here) 3) Lonely Horse Trail Loop ( 10 miles or 6/mile loop options). We will be making reservations at several of the local restaurants for our group and those who wish to meet up for dinners and share their days’ adventures.

There will be a BBQ potluck one night. Two nights out a the famous Pappy and Harriets Restaurant.  Reservations need to be made by calling the restaurant at(760) 365-5956.

You can make the drive in 10 hours from Sac – Yucca
Valley; but many of us have found that an overnight stop at a Wolfe Haven horse motel in Tehachapi breaks up the drive and is a nice stop with corrals, water, and shelters… (and electric hookups if you need them). Info:https://www.facebook.com › … › Sports & Recreation › Wolfe Haven
